We Are Sailing ....

Drove to Walton on the Naze today to try to escape the intense heat inland, but it was still pretty hot on the coast too:-) Spotted this lovely ship, which I think is a London sailing barge (because of the red-brown sails), but do tell me if I'm wrong!

We had lunch at the Naze Tower, but I couldn't face climbing the tower to see the view from the top. Another (cooler) day, perhaps. The intention was to do the coastal path walk in the hope of seeing some basking seals, but we only got half way round and had to abandon the idea, as it was just too hot for all of us.

We're leaving Essex tomorrow and moving to Leeds to visit a friend, so hope it's a bit cooler further north:-)
