Indie

Forgot to take any pictures on Sunday which was very silly as it was a lovely day. Got up bright and early for the third successive morning and caught the train to Leamington Spa, which felt very nostalgic despite only having been away a month. Somehow getting off of the train there and walking the familiar streets felt like coming home. Becky was up moving out of the flat and so had one last unplanned visit there and saw Becky for the second time in my very short weekend which was lovely. Then met up with Richard who surprised me by taking me for lunch at Mallory Court which was very yummy indeed. We were fortunately blessed with beautiful weather and had a very laid back afternoon lazing around in the hotel gardens. Picked up a last few bits I'd managed to leave at the flat before heading for the station once more to get the train home. A lovely phone catch-up with Charlotte who I didn't get to see :( before heading to bed, knackered!

Monday: a well needed lie in, before Granny and Grandad came over. Sat with them in the garden for a bit, did some packing and bits and pieces and took Indie for a quick walk over the marshes (pictured here looking well-exercised and rather pleased with herself for charging into the river to cool off). After that it was quick goodbyes before getting the tube into London, the train to Gatwick and a plane back to Corfu.

Arrived back in St George at 4am. FOUR. A.M. Had to walk back home from one of my hotels and was greeted by lots of growling and woofing from the dogs before they realised who I was and came rushing over to welcome me back. They really are adorable.
