Fishing Gear

I am keen to get out on the water and do some fishing this weekend. Weather permitting that is.

This is the fishing rod I bought while on holiday in Western Australia. I haven't used it yet. It's a Penn 230. Bullet proof.

My mate Tony has suggested a spot we haven't tried before. My plan is to go out early on either Saturday or Sunday morning. Maybe both.

This rod might be a bit of overkill for the bay. Well, not for the far eastern part but maybe for were we are planning to go. I will have to do a bit of research.

Anyway, there is nothing like spending a bit of time in the garage getting my baot and fishing gear ready...
