Harvest

My last day at home! Pictured above is today's harvest from my dad's porch garden: okra, cucumbers, and peas. The day has been pretty sad for me as I realize that I am actually leaving. I keep telling my parents it's like I'm leaving for college, but this feels really different, for some reason.

Highlights of the day included a surprise delivery of food from my cousin and dinner with my family at Rodizio, a Brazilian BBQ buffet. So delicious but I think I have reached my meat quota for the month!
