Burwell Lode

Lodes are very old waterway across the fens this one is thought to have been dug by the Romans 
This morning we went to Ely had a wander around the shops and market then went to see bro. At lunch time we went to the 5 miles from anywhere pub for lunch with BIL and sister. We like to meet here always a good meal. Lots of chat and catching up
We came home across the fens and I stopped to take this picture
