A New Sign

When we passed through Grantlodge at around 8:30 on our way into Inverurie this morning, the old road signs I blipped here last Wednesday were still in situ.

The next time I passed, at about 1:00pm on the way back, they had gone, and these new signs were in place. As the light wasn't too great just then, we returned this evening around 6:00 and I captured the scene you see here.

Thanks to BigN's suggestion last week, I contacted the Council, and it looks like they're willing for me to help find a new, permanent home for the old signs where they can be appreciated as part of our design heritage. Watch this space...
