Giant Hogweed, River Ury

As in previous years, Giant Hogweed, Heracleum mantegazzianum, lines the banks of the River Ury, as seen here at Milton of Inveramsay, a few kilometres above its confluence with the River Don near Inverurie.

The arch in the background is the bridge carrying the Aberdeen-Inverness railway line over the Ury at this point.
