Every year The Swan Hotel in Harrogate hosts a Crime Writers Festival. I went to an event this morning, Ruth Rendell interviewed by Janette Winterson. Packed out, it was a very entertaining and thought provoking session.

Afterwards there was a book signing event in these rather splendid tents.
