Back at the codeface again.

I have literally no patience and it takes very little to get my frustration  levels to boiling point.

Not that you would know if you phoned me.  Then it's all calm and patience.

A bit of a rebel streak in evidence today too.

I'm heartily sick of admin, I like working too much.  There was a change that was required - urgent they said.  So it was made and implemented in less than 5 minutes.  Eff the "you need to document it here, you need to document it there, and then you need a change and wait until someone else has the time to activate it".  None of that BS, change made, activated and tested.  Game over.

If anyone moans, I'll just say it's the result of the painkillers.

Someone has to recognise that I'm responsible for this software, I can judge what has to be done far better than anyone else.  And if I make a mistake, I fix it.  Nobody dies because of an unfilled checklist.
