Anatole's blips

Loch Quoich

Loch Quoich is a reservoir occupying a large flooded valley. Whilst it looks a bit low at the moment, it is quite attractive in the evening looking across the water at the interlocking feet of the mountains on either side.

This was the end point of a long walk across to Gairich (919m) - a particularly remote Munro, although offering us a tantalising view of another yet more remote mountain that we have still to get to (Sgurr Mor).
