Waiting for Randy...

...a shot of a waiting piano. Attended the Randy Newman concert at Villa Montalvo near Los Gatos California. Empty piano mostly due to heavy camera restrictions at the conference. Although, no cameras are allowed, many people were right up in the front with their smart phones taking snaps. Caught this one as we were waiting for him to return from break. Wonderful venue (except the camera restriction), and a beautiful evening. He performed for over 2 hours with only one break and an encore. Did a few not heard before items, bantered with the audience nicely, and performed many of his well known recordings. I especially like "Political Science."
