The Moon Rising

Late afternoon and the moon peeks its head up over the hills that surround us here in the valley. This shot was captured by Mrs Horomaka after I set the camera up for her (it's difficult to manoeuvre into position quick enough sometimes, so thankfully she was on hand for this one). She's not fond of the weight of the D800 and 70-200 combo - it's a far cry from her diminutive D40!

Another late upload tonight, so it's almost time for bed. Had a very nice evening with friends round in the neighbouring valley - good food, quaffable wine, excellent company. It was great to leave the valley again too. Hopefully soon I'll be able to drive too.

Right, the duvet calls. 'Boing', said Zebedee
