Pink skies

Today we went on a fab snorkelling trip. We saw every fish imaginable and a turtle!!! It was also hilarious as out of the 25 people on the boat, only 5 of us could actually swim! You see, our island has 50% Chinese occupancy and apparently they never learn to swim. So, here we all are, in the middle of the ocean and the chinese are all kitted up with life vests. They are then shocked when they are told that they have to jump off the boat into the sea! Luckily, with our scuba experience our guide told us to jump off the boat 1st so we could show that we didn't drown!
I just couldn't get my head around why anyone would book a snorkelling experience when you can't swim and you are to be dropped off into the middle of the ocean? They have more balls than me, as I certainly wouldn't have. I think they all did get into the sea eventually with lots of help from the boat team.
Just about to go for a early evening cocktail and some canapés before dinner. This is the life! Xx
