We took it easy around the house and practiced singing a few songs..

Then we met up with Ever, Paul, Ms. Dream and Sergio at Waverly train station and headed to North Queensferry. It was my first time over the bridge in the train.. beautiful.

We then made the short walk to Nacho and Ryan's place to meet the hens and see the garden and then it was off to the beach to celebrate Paul's birthday.

We found Susan waiting on the beach. We all had bags of food and Stewart and I brought the guitar. We set up camp on the beach and several good people gathered sticks and logs for the fire. Later, Kathryn and her new bride arrived (will insert name there when I remember it) and we ate, drank, chatted and then Stewart and I sang our songs.

We had a prepared set list.

There were a few other songs sung afterwards as well. It was a lovely night and then we headed for the train back to Edinburgh around 11pm on the way to the station we a hedgehog! I had never seen one before- so cute and larger than I expected.

Went to sleep happily exhausted.
