Dichotomies

Today we went to a graduation party for our friend. She graduated this month from seminary with two degrees: a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling degree and a Master of Divinity degree. Congratulations, Bev. We are so very proud of you!

Today I also went to a funeral for another good friend. Her death was sudden and a shock to her friends. Kathy was a giving person. As the pastor said, she didn't have much in the material sense, but she was always doing things for others. We will miss her very much.
