Jellyfish

We took a wee walk down to the old pier at Craignure today as we had half an hour to spare before the ferry to Oban was due.

There were a number of these jellyfish - apparently Moon Jellyfish - gently floating backwards and forwards in the shallow water at the end of the pier.

On the crossing to Oban I met Snapper, a blipper with whom I cross paths in Argyll from time to time. Then we spent some time with the Irish President , Michael D Higgins, and his wife who were sitting on the top deck enjoying the amazing sunshine, whilst a very Celtic buzz of song and conversation went on around them for the boat was also carrying most of the people who had been part of yesterday's wonderful events on Iona.
