Train Station Mono

A lazy day today after the exercise overload that was last night's 10k walk. We stayed local and just had a wander into town early afternoon. Then back home for the rest of the afternoon, enjoying an al fresco lunch and a little rosé before I ventured out again to (belatedly) toast my mate Mike's birthday. All very idyllic.

While we were out this aft we went along to a small photography exhibition at the train station, with lots of really good black and white images including some of Pickering and the station itself. On the way out I tried to recreate a shot I'd seen, from the end of the platform. As you haven't seen the original, you'll have to take my word for the resemblance ;-)
