Today Was A Good Day

Today saw the grand opening of the bike park and outdoor activity area I bored y'all with yesterday, Newbridge Park in Pickering. The weather was glorious, we had a great turnout, the barbecue fed everyone well and a great day was had by all - a roaring success!

It was great to see the fruits of a couple of years' work by a great bunch of people, and to celebrate and thank all those who've helped us along the way. This is just the beginning, as we've just been awarded a new £50k grant from Sport England to get cracking with the next big phase of work.

Oh and my missus AnnW also blipped the event today.
