Brantome

We had managed good times some days and as a result had a free day for heading north to pick up European Bus Express at Saintes. My brother and his wife had been texting to see if we could make it to see them at their house in the Haute Vienne.

We headed north towards Perigueux on a busy road and when we arrived we had a wander around. Cycled on and stopped at Chateau-I'Eveque for a cold drink and ice cream as it was so hot. Cycled on to Brantome where we camped.

After tent was erected, showers etc we walked the km into Brantome. Had a wander round and went to a restaurant for a lovely meal. This was the view across the river to another restaurant. 76 km
