Cool Change

What day is it today? Monday? Thursday? Ah no - I remember - Holi-day :)

Lovely relaxing day where I felt I achieved a few things though I still have a few important things still on the list.

Camera Club tonight and some feedback and results from the Night Workers group challenge we did a couple of months ago. The feedback was a little disappointing - I certainly rated a good few of the images by other club member rather more highly than the judges did! Still, it was a learning curve for many of us and our real 'prize' was adding a few more skills to the kete, getting to know some other club members better and being pushed out of our comfort zones.

And the good things about stepping beyond those comfort zones? Firstly, the personal growth that one gains in doing so and secondly - ironically - the comfort of the return to familiarity and the subsequent 'checking out' of where one's 'new' comfort line can be redrawn.

(Was also chuffed to receive not one but two awards tonight in our in-house competition. *Smile*)

I feel a short trip coming on to my special place . . . . . . which is anywhere I want it to be . . . . . .
