Augen Zu Und Durch

The closest I can come to a translation of this is "roll your sleeves up and get stuck in". You say this when you've got things you have to do and they aren't always pleasant.

That's the stage we're at in our project at work. We find out on Saturday how well we've planned and prepared. It's all a bit tense.

And unbelievably hot.

33°C in our office today. The fans didn't help at all. However, our department admin assistant (who I think should be called the department administrator - nothing would get done on the organisational front if it wasn't for her) came round at lunchtime with just-out-the-refridgerator bottles of water. That was jolly nice.

Today's Blip is something I quite like. Something about the lines and the age of both the book case and the suitcase that just speaks to me.

And now I'm wondering why "book case" is two words and "suitcase" is just one. Feel free to wonder along with me.
