Aphrodite fighting off Pan....

Went to the National Archeological Museum in Athens today.

This is an amazing place - too big to enjoy in one go. We did our best, but probably saw less than half of it.

This statue was one of my favorites: it shows Aphrodite fighting Pan's advances at her with a sandal in her hand ;-)))
On her shoulder is little Eros.

Yesterday is a blank, because we all had to recover from the Big Fat Greek Wedding.....
