Public Enemy #1

One errant marmot
has become the undesirable focus of my attention
This whistle pig is a rogue male
who is supposed to be guarding his harem while
living as an omnivore
Instead, he has decided to take up residence in
the motor of my Ford pickup.
Rather than dining on grasshoppers, flowers and grass
he has sampled the wires of the air-conditioner and windshield washer.
We have tried luring him into a trap using delicacies as bait -
lettuce, apples, peanut butter....even tomatoes
NO LUCK!
Somewhere on the property there should be a burrow where
he is supposed to spend 80% of his life....
For some reason, the Ford motor seems more attractive.
I despair!
