Archimedes Nomming

Backblipped on 24th July 2013

One of the features of backblipping so far back is that it really takes me back to the time.

Archimedes was an old man when this was taken, and was grieving for his brother Pythagoras and we were taking very special care of him - hence the fact that he was eating special soft food mash on the Wonderspouse's lap.

Since this picture was taken he has, given his age at the time, pretty obviously, died. It's lovely to see him again - what a beautiful boy he was. A very special rat indeed - patient when I bathed his eyes, and such a sweet natured boy. He was also the rat who got the Wonderspouse into rats - they grieved together over the summer - the Wonderspouse for his mother, and Mede for his brother Py.

Lovely to see you again Mede - you'll never be forgotten. x
