Ant invasion

The warning sign was spotted marching up the wall, freshly emerged from the plastic bag I collect cans that are heading to the recycling bin in. I moved the bag - more warning signs emerged.

I watch to see where they march to . . . . . . . the cupboard whose handle the bag is hanging from.

I open the cupboard door . . . . . . . .

A WHOLE ARMY HAS INVADED!

Aaaargh.

Empty the cupboard - ants everywhere. Vacuum. Bug spray. Vacuum. Ant killer set. Information on the pack says it could take up to 3 weeks for the whole colony to be wiped out. They don't stand a chance.
