Big sky

We've been out and about today. We went into the little town of Stranraer and bought a few bits and had coffee in a busy cafe. On the way back Normous and I took a detour to the very top of the peninsular where it is very rural with isolated farmhouses.
After lunch the four oldies went into Portpatrick. It was busy little port in the warm sunshine. We had tea under an umbrella at a seaside cafe. We took a side road to see the Portpatrick lighthouse where C and R sat on a bench and watched the sea.

It is the incredible wide skies that are impressing me, not often visible in Surrey. The clouds today were spectacular.
