Our Journey is a process

Xian

After visiting the Qin Dynasty terracotta warriors yesterday, we decided to take a break - well, kind of. We decided to ride bicycles along the top of the ancient city wall of Xian. This photo is of a building located right inside the city wall. I love the Chinese pagoda style shown here.

Our bicycle ride was great and not without laughs, thrills, but no spills. It is about 12 miles around the entire city wall. We got great views of the entire "inner city" as well.

Xian was the ancient capital of China and is very historic. It also boasts two towers - the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower, and has a great Muslim Quarter for terrific street food and street vendors. Add this to your bucket list.

See my backblips for more on this great trip to China.
