Han Dynasty Terracotta Warriors

On our last day in Xian, we visited the Han Terracotta Warriors on our way to the airport. The main exhibition hall comprised 9 pits showing warriors, wagons, horses, and livestock made from terracotta during the Han Dynasty as part of the burial of the Han Emperor. This is only of 9 pits out of at least 30 that are in the process of excavation. While this isn't a great picture, what is exciting is that it was taken in low light through 6" of plexiglass while standing approximately 10 feet over the pit where some of the warriors were found, which explains the various reflections in the photo.
