A fire house wedding!

Fire fighters are like family, so when Carol and Crystal decided to get officially married (legal in Washington), they chose to marry with their "family" present, in Cle Elum, Washington!

It is amazing what folks can get away with in a small town like Cle Elum, especially if the local fire chief likes you.

Both Carol and Crystal are fully qualified para medic / firefighters.

They decided to get married at the local fire house, with both parties arriving in matching ambulances!

It was quite hot, so they decided to have all of the fire apparatus moved away from the fire house, so that all the guests could sit in the shaded engine bays on folding chairs.

They made a GRAND entry with two ambulances, making EVERY conceivable sound that an ambulance or fire truck can possibly make!

There was the chirp, chirp, chirp, do-wah, do wah, do wah, and even the blam, blam, blam, of the deep low tone of the horn that signals get the f*** out of OUR way! All this, less than 100 feet away from the guests - quite a crowd pleaser!

They didn't just "tie the knot" - they "tied the hose." They are both very passionate about firefighting!

It was a WONDERFUL ceremony, despite the 90+ degree eastern Washington heat.
