I spotted this beauty of a rose in the grounds of the hospital. I adore garden roses, the delicacy of their petals, and my friend laughs as I can barely pass a garden without popping my nose in any bloom peaking over a wall or fence to soak up any potential fragrance. This is the Peace rose or Rosa Madame A Meilland in honour of the breeder's mother.
