Blipping Forty

After the rain

When I left work this morning the rain was teaming down and so there was no opportunity for a blip. Eventually the rain stopped and the sun appeared once more and I ventured out to see what I could find. My neighbour has a huge lavender bush which spreads all along the front wall. It is magnificent every summer but seems to be even more so this year. This afternoon it was literally buzzing with hundreds of bees of all varieties and a number of different butterflies also. This is the very common tortoiseshell but it was so magnificent against the lavender I couldn't resist it being the pick of the bunch.
