Blip Model Mum

Two blips in a row eh...at least you can see what she looks like in this one :-)

We have spent a lovely day together, local garden centre & Sainsburys, stocking up on food for the birds and for the weekend.

The Alzheimers tightens it's grip once again and today she was very confused about how to pay for the goods we bought, and is having another period of eating nothing but a boiled egg for breakfast (which she sometimes forgets how to cook).

My mission then was to produce a appetizing light lunch - including wine- (which she picked at)....and I have bought stuff for tonight and a roast for tomorrow....

She has made me laugh (and cry) today and some of the stuff we have talked about is just too painful to share.

Anyway, she is still here - and some of those those photos behind her at our kitchen table date back to before I was born...they just got added to over the years.   I think thepainterswife you might remember that cork tiled wall?

On a lighter note it seems that, due to a misunderstanding between Martin and I,  Sam has gone to Scout Camp today without a mac.  Thunderstorms predicted tonight and rain next week.  Oooops!
