Eye Spy

It was a bright and sunny morning just perfect for a walk around Aden Country Park in Mintlaw.  Before our walk we visited the café there, which was under new ownership.  

Although my friend, fellow blipper,  Charlie17 hadn’t been to try it out his wife had.  Mrs Charlie17 gave it the thumbs up so Mrs CBL and I were certain it would pass muster … and it did!  The coffee was good as were the traybakes and scones and the staff were friendly.  We look forward to visiting it again.

I was hoping to see the squirrels at their ‘secret’ hideaway.  They hadn’t been in sight on our  two previous visits but there they were this morning.  I don’t think I’ve ever been closer to a squirrel than I was on this occasion.  There were two of them feeding happily on nuts near me but they did keep a wary eye on me.
