Christ's College, Cambridge.

The College was founded in 1437 by William Byngham and re-founded in 1505 by Lady Margaret Beaufort. This is the Third Court, with the Stevenson Building on the left and the Chancellor's building facing. I had to venture into the city today and it was heaving with more people than ever, so I went into the college gardens, for a quiet sit down before catching the bus home. With a Bounty chocolate bar and a Solero ice lolly I enjoyed the peace of this lovely garden. Although there are flower borders, this part is mainly shrubs at the moment. It has been a beautiful day and now the thunder has arrived.
