As I passed Midsummer Common, I noticed it was full of cyclists and went to investigate. A large notice said :- Congratulations on completing the bike ride from London to Cambridge. Get your certificates here. The logo was 'Break Through Breast Cancer.' A very worthy cause. Well done to all who attempted this long ride in the heat today. I don't know how long it would take. It's about 52 miles and there were no closed roads for them.
