Camino Diaries- We’ve arrived!

Mumma bear and I have arrived in Sarria ready to start the Camino de Santiago tomorrow morning. After arriving, we spent some time exploring Sarria and gathering our bearings. Although mum and I are used to travelling, the Camino is an entirely unique experience for both us. After exploring and collecting our first 2 stamps for our credentials, we had some tapas then attended a pilgrim’s mass. At the end of the mass we sang ‘Pescador De Hombres’, a song I haven’t heard/sang since choir many years ago. It’s funny how such a distant memory can suddenly become so current. Sarria is such a beautiful town and I can’t wait to for Camino to officially start tomorrow!
