When in Santiago

After all the excitement of yesterday we were very tired this morning, however the champagne breakfast soon woke us up! We then spent the rest of the day exploring some of sights of Santiago. Despite this intended as a rest day, we’ve still managed to walk around 5 miles. One of our highlights was watching a scout group from Brazil dance in a huge circle outside the Cathedral, all so excited they’d completed their pilgrimage. We were also fortunate enough to bump into Dennis from Berlin this evening, so we went for a drink. Tomorrow we have some more sightseeing and celebrations for the feast of St James to enjoy before setting off again.
