Day of the Butterfly

Out and about today it was obvious that it's butterfly season as they are everywhere. 'That's my photo of the day sorted then' thought I, 'I'll snap some Cabbage Whites later on'. Unfortunately, by the time I got round to it, the rain had come and the butterfly had fluttered off for shelter. I had other shots (horses, fence post and pencil) but felt it my duty to stick with it and produce a butterfly shot. Luckily, these guys were on the wing in the living room this evening - job done.
