Zygaena filipendulae

Today's the day ....................... to be spotted

I always thought this brightly-coloured day-flying moth was called a seven-spot burnet - but when I googled it, I find that it's more likely to be a six-spot which are the most frequently found burnet. Apparently you can get five-spot ones too.

While I was searching, I think I may have spotted the unknown moth that I blipped earlier in the week.

I think it might be an orange swift ..................
