It's warm in here!

- So said one of the girls as she swam alongside her raft. The Raft Race at Musselburgh took off with one raft rapidly overtaking the rest and passing round the harbour walls while the girls in the furthermost raft quickly ended up in the sea. Consequently they had to swim, pushing and pulling their raft most of the way until, as they approached the beach, two dogs and some lads leapt in the water to help the laughing girls.
