Dried hydrangeas from my front garden, I've hair-sprayed the blooms so let's see how long they last but I think I should've picked them a week earlier. 

After chatting to Gill on the walk yesterday, and having intended to apply to Derbyshire Wildlife Trust for a while, I did it, and have been accepted as a volunteer. I've begun by joining a group just south of Chesterfield in January, a bit of a drive but I've got to start somewhere!

This afternoon I walked the long way round to the surgery to have my stitches taken out. I expected it to hurt, but it didn't, except one lol. The Nurse, originally from Florida, thought it would be fine to go bouldering... but I'm not sure she realised how much back movement would be involved. I'll wait another week and see.
