Incredible camping spot

Today was the start of our trek in the Kackar mountains. We are walking from Yusufeli, over some pass' to a small place called Yaylallar for 4 days.
We packed our rucksacks and bought the food in the morning so we didn't end up setting off till after lunch time. The walk began at a large church which is over a thousand years old. We set off up the river in the sweltering heat and after half an hour and a difficult scramble up a steep scree slope, we realised we could go no further and had lost the path so we went back down and after a bit of searching, found that the path had crossed the river. We went along that for a while until again we lost it. After a stop to pump some more water, we continued, frustratingly losing and finding the path for a few more hours until eventually we arrived at the church in the picture after 5 hours. The guidebook said it should take 1 and a half hours to get there which shows how much time we spent lost!
We decided to camp here which is probably the most amazing place I've ever camped in my life. I think it's amazing how they managed to build this church on a cliff high in the mountains a thousand years ago!
