Lunch Time Entertainment

The first day of my short visit to Renfrew. In the morning we went to Glasgow. The picture shows the organ at Kelvingrove Museum and Art Gallery. An impressive instrument. There is an organ recital at 1pm today, and I think most days when the museum is open. It is good the organ is properly maintained and even better that it is used to entertain people. Better still it is free of charge, even for the music recital. In the hall below the organ there is a coffee bar so refreshments can be consumed at the same time.

We were a bit too early for the recital on this occasion, but I have heard it in the past. There is a wide variety music played to suit most tastes. It is nice to hear the music played on an organ of this type.

In the afternoon we were back in Renfrew and made a quick trip to Houston for a pint of home brew at the Fox and Hounds.
