A view from Jeanneb

Straight on at the lamppost.

We had a perfectly timed walk this morning in the warm sunshine. We have had two thunderstorms since!

Near the end we passed this row of cottages at the bottom of Leech Lane above Goit Stock.
It is a public footpath but also their gardens. I always love seeing them, especially when the Wisteria is in flower and the old lamppost makes me think of Narnia. Don't know why as we had gas lights like this when I was a child, I even remember the lamplighter and the discarded mantle rings they left behind!

We continued through the fields back to the village, except Corinthian who went up Leech Lane to the top end of the village nearer to her home. Look what she spotted.

Nice walk and we kept dry!
