Swearin' in the Rain...

...just swearing' in the rain.

Love it when all these instructional videos/online guides tell you something's rated 'easy' and will take 10 minutes. In an ideal world obviously. And not in the rain.

Took me the equivalent of both sides of a C90 to change over the rear cassette on a bike today. Chain whip tool snapped twice, rubber mallet's head flew off and knuckles were bloodied trying to free up the, what felt like, welded to the cassette lockring. Took a few hits with a hammer and a proper good swearing at before it gave in and loosened.

All back together now though and no more slipping gears.

Now have to have a look at this 50mm lens as it's decided to split into two parts. Pretty sure it's not meant to do that.

Never rains but it pours.
