Gum Nut Hat

Busy day today at work with the end of the month looming and I rushed out to buy something quick for lunch and found this gum nut hat on the path on the way back.

I played around with it tonight with my new incredibly bright LED Mag Lite torch and got some really different lighting effects which accentuated the texture.

In other news Jake is doing really well and he was very bright and bubbly today which was great to see. When I took the bucket off for a while tonight he suddenly ran around and around like a lunatic, even with the sore foot it must have been such a relief!
