The interplay of water and light in Bradford City Park is a recurring theme in this and many other Blipfoto journals. Unusually today, the big fountain was on in the morning, which gave a great opportunity to capture it with the sun behind, framed against the silhouette of the Town Hall.

The recent fine weather has shown once again what an inspired piece of design this public space has proved to be.

If you view large, you'll see a little rainbow. I'm not sure if it's lens flare or an optical phenomenon - as I've shown before, the fountains do produce some great rainbow effects.
