Day Twenty Three: Roof With A View

Drama of this tinder dry day was (another) scrub fire. Mehmet walked up and stood on the roof of this three story block for a better view. I grabbed my Samsung as there are not many chances in life to photograph a barefooted man roof walking!  Glad to say the fire didn't last long, although it did give us a power cut for a couple of hours.

Gaby left in the early hours to go to Ireland for her nephew's wedding and I passed the day at home and poolside. I am currently totally absorbed in listening to Daniel Silva's novel "The English Girl" read by George Guidhall which I thoroughly recommend to any fellow audible addicts out there in Blipland.
