oh we do like to be beside the seaside..

A day trip out with friends Jo and Mark to Eastbourne today to enjoy the lovely weather. First stop Jevington tea rooms where we had a light lunch then on to Birling Gap and Seven Sisters where we climbed up to Beachy Head. Just as we approached the summit it started to rain so we headed into the bar and had a drink whilst the showers passed.. we descended back to the car and into Eastbourne in search of fish and chips, the takeaways were purchased from Harry Ramsden's and we headed to the beach. Unfortunately a seagull took a liking to Mark or rather his fish and kept swooping at him and managed to escape with a piece, so we scurried beneath the pier to finish our dinner before the birds did! A quick paddle in the sea then dessert and a beer in the Belgian cafe before the drive home.. the perfect Sunday with great company, lots of laughter, good food and weather
