D day and counting.......
It's stage 1, travelling to the A63 outside Hull to overnight in an extremely dicey Travel Lodge with no restaurant nearby following the closure of the onsite Little Chef, which now awaits a licence as a sex shop.

Lest we starve tonight, we are carrying enough food to keep us alive for several days!

I have paid a ridiculous fee for an hour's connection to the Internet during our stay in the Travel Lodge. I feel that in this day and age, WiFi should be generally available, even if that means charging slightly more for the rooms.

Most people I know find the internet an invaluable and necessary part of their lives, and so to find that some places at the lower end of the accommodation budget charge for it, seems unrealistic.
